Work for us

We’re only as good as our people and our people are excellent!

Staff Record Form

We’re only as good as our people and our people are excellent! We’re a passionate bunch too. Passionate about our work, our clients, our world…. And we smile. A lot. Rarely does a day go by with out a smile and there’s more laughter than silence, sometimes that sort of side-splitting, hurting laughter that you used to get as a kid.

That’s doesn’t mean we’re not serious about what we do; far from it. In fact, the dedication we apply to every single project from a single leaflet to a full campaign goes beyond the norm.

If you like the sound of this and think we’d like the sound of you, then get in touch – even if there’s no current vacancies, don’t let that stop you dropping us a line.

Current vacancies

Senior Account Manager / Director

Can you write a winning bid? Do you know how to develop a persuasive campaign that delivers tangible results? Do you know the waste sector inside-out? Is you tea and coffee making skills up to scratch?

EnviroComms is looking for an experienced Public Communications Specialist to join our team to be part of – and contribute to – the next exciting phase of the company’s growth.

Ideally, you’ll be currently working within the waste industry either within the public or private sectors or in consultancy performing a communications based role. You’ll have hands-on experience of behaviour change communications and a compelling track record of delivering successful projects.

This is a highly dynamic role and rarely are two days alike. On one, you’ll be writing the winning tender for our next project, the next you could be training a team of doorsteppers, directing an educational video shoot or organising a clean-up on a Mediterranean beach. Regardless of the assignment, you’ll be contributing to the delivery of projects that lead to more recycling, less contamination, less waste or any other positive shift in behaviours in how people deal with their waste.

Communications Project Manager

We’re looking for a Communications Project Manager to provide a wide range of supportive measures to the engagement projects we deliver. The principle area of focus will be upon data; developing the spreadsheets that will enable accurate performance tracking, processing acquired data, analysing that data as well as managing our tablet-based remote data collecting tool. Beyond this, work will include managing work-flow for creative applications and support in organising events and various field activities.

You’ll be working with some of the best creative minds and strategic thinkers in the business and alongside a global network of associate consultants that inspire progressive and effective development in the waste sector.

We have been appointed by Wirral Council to undertake a review of local waste services and are looking to recruit a team of eight local people to help us deliver this work from early July 2018.

Wirral Council support their residents by providing additional wheelie bins for general rubbish, to those that require it. This is normally to accommodate periods when people generate unusually large amounts of general rubbish (such as nappies). However, it is not uncommon to find that when people have this extra capacity for rubbish, they use this rather than recycle. Recycling is much better for the environment and costs the council far less than disposing of rubbish.

This project will involve assessing whether residents require additional rubbish bins and are recycling correctly. To do this, we need a team of people to undertake the following tasks:

  • Working in small groups visit properties that have two rubbish bins and assess how they are being used
  • Record those observations into a hand-held tablet device
  • Hang an information tab onto bins

No experience in this field is necessary as full training will be provided although you should possess the following:

  • Ability and willingness to engage confidently with members of the public in a clear and assertive manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team to meet performance targets
  • Keen interest in waste, recycling and environmental issues
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to work outside in all weather and in small teams
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends

All contracts are offered as PAYE on a fixed-term or part-time basis.
